Greetings And Giveaways From The YA Squad!
Happy December Eve, everyone! Welcome to our little corner of the internet. If you haven't already, meet the Squad. We're a group of Young Adult authors who eat, sleep, and breathe books.
From the burning ember of first love to the bitterness of first heartbreak, the teenage years are emotional and raw. Show us action, give us romance, keep us on the edge of our seats in suspense...we believe there is nothing as magical as a good YA book.
To kick things off, we have an awesome giveaway. All you need to do to enter is comment on this post. We'd like to get to know you. Pull up a chair, grab a coke (or a coffee) and tell us something about yourself! Maybe your favorite animal or food. Possibly your guilty pleasure. What did you want to do for a living when you were a teen?
Perhaps your deepest, darkest secret...?
Now for the goodies! Check it out...
- A 20$ gift Starbucks gift card
- ebook copy of Accidental Butterfly by Marisa Cleveland
- ebook copy of Darker Days by Jus Accardo
- ebook copy of Falling For The Wrong Guy by Sara Hantz
- ebook copy of Running Out of Time (A Murder in Mind novella) by Sara Hantz

Congratulations on the blog! I knew I was a writer from the time I was little but I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a teen. I thought I'd care for animals during the day and write at night.
ReplyDeleteThat'd be like the perfect life. Fluffies all day, words all night!
DeleteSounds a great way to live!
DeleteHello all! I am a grandma who loves YA, I embarrass my daughter when I go to book signings."what are you going to say, mom?", we peruse the bookstore aisles together, and I get first dibs because I read so fast. Hello fellow book lovers!
ReplyDeleteFirst dibs is always awesome! ;)
DeleteCongrats, YA squad!!!! Looking forward to this blog! I've always wanted to be an author, from the time I was six years old.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was always this or food for me. *fist bump*
DeleteCongratulations on the new site! Guilty pleasures? McDonald's breakfast and really bad action movies. Congrats again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Katherine! I love action movies, too :)
Delete*raises hand* Me too! What's your fave one?
DeleteI planned to be a secretary when I was a teen. Bleeeech, changed my mind on that one, thankfully! Got a degree in art and then decided to be a writer instead. LOL Congrats on the new blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, thanks for stopping by the blog! I bet you're happy you changed your mind! I did secretarial work in my 20s, working my way through college. I have to say I don't miss it :)
DeleteCongratulations on the new blog. Older YA fan here. When I was a teenager, my dream job was to name things. Serengeti Sunrise for the latest yellowish Orange paint color. Dr. Creighton Grace is the latest soap character. The Blessed Bayou, a honky tonk bar opening downtown. If it needed naming, I was your girl.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, T.L. What a cool superpower! How about book titles? I always need help with those :)
DeleteGrats T.L !!! You the winner of the launch giveaway. Shoot us an email at yasquad @ yahoo . com and let us know if you'd like nook or kindle copies.
DeleteAnytime you need something named Lisa, I would be more than happy to help. I can't wait to get reading.
DeleteGreat blog! Writing, reading, books, great escape & entertainment as a teen, now I have my kids & granddaughter hooked. I wanted to be a rebel with a cause, but instead .... the world changed me.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to be a linguist and a writer both. As soon as I turned 17, I joined the Army and did just that. I was a Signals Intelligence Analyst and I spoke Vietnames and Polish. Now I am on career #2... writing! I love YA, and I don't care that I am the mother of 4 YA kids!
